My journey into the beauty and wellbeing industry wasn’t actually planned.

For many years I worked as a Car Rental Manager, a busy role involving long hours, lots of time on the road and, as the years went by, an increasingly stressful lifestyle.

After experiencing kinesiology for myself, I became fascinated by it and decided to learn more, purely out of personal interest, with absolutely no intention of turning it into a career. But one thing led to another. Kinesiology led me to study massage, reflexology, Reiki and other holistic therapies, and I gradually found myself building a completely different path alongside my full-time career.

Eventually, the long hours and demands of my management role were taking over my life and I decided it was time to make the leap. I left the corporate world behind and made treatments my full-time career.

More than 20 years later, my treatment room looks rather different!

While holistic wellbeing is still very much part of what I do, I’ve continued to train, learn and invest in new treatments and technology. Today, Dragonfly Skin & LaserCare combines that holistic foundation with advanced skin and body treatments, radio frequency, HIT Acoustic Body technology and advanced laser hair removal, alongside wellbeing and traditional beauty treatments.

What hasn’t changed is my belief in treating the person in front of me. My clinic is private and one-to-one, and every client is treated by me. Whether you’re visiting for advanced skin, laser, body treatments or simply some much-needed time to switch off, I want you to feel comfortable, looked after and confident that your treatment has been tailored for you.

When I’m not in the treatment room…

You’ll often find me with my two Cocker Spaniels, Misty and Lilly. Misty is the older of the two and is happiest with cuddles and treats, while Lilly is rather more adventurous and loves scent training and man-trailing, searching for people, purely for fun!

I also love swimming and Reformer Pilates, and spending time catching up with friends and family. After years of working long hours, I’ve definitely learnt to appreciate the importance of making time for the things, people (and dogs!) that make you feel good.
